The Power of science and innovation

POSAI is umbrella under which the Gates Foundation expresses stories about innovations that can build a more equitable world. Tiny Giant Steps is it’s first bespoke content series that features stories of incredible people working on the front lines of global health.

The first entry features Dr. Ruanne Barnabas, Chief of Infections Diseases at Mass General, and the principal investigator of the KENSHE study. Her and her team proved that a single-dose HPV vaccine is robust and is 97.5% effective against preventing cervical cancer.
